LearnPhonics! follows a similar progression to the original Letters and Sounds document with many new graphemes introduced into the later Phases. 

The scheme comes with a detailed Timeline of Progression. This ensures curriculum coverage and guides teachers on their daily teaching.

The Words of the Week are also listed to ensure that all Common Exception Words are covered.

There is a section in the Timeline called Recommended Reads. This gives helpful suggestions of which Junior Learning decodable book to read and when (for children working at Age Related Expectations.

(For schools outside of the U.K. the curriculum is structured by phase not terms/semesters but follows the same progression).
